I am working with a thermistor for my first project with arduino, My project is to build a mechanism of an air condition unit in a simple way. 1 use Thermistor to get the room temp and if room temp goes below 23C shut the AC off! 2 use motion sensor and if for 2 hours there is nobody in the room (sensor doesnt pick up anything) shut AC off!
20210506· Hi there, I am new to all this stuff, I have a very basic circuit I need to make and run off this board. Basically I have a thermistor (reads temperature) which is a 2k2 type. I need to light up 4 different LEDs depending on temperature of the thermistor (resistance). So 1 LED needs to be lit up at a time which would reference what temperature zone it is in.
20190623· The steps include: Prior doing anything, check the rated value of the device (100Ω, 1KΩ, 10KΩ). Set resistance value close to its rated resistance value. If this is not possible, meaning that the thermistor cannot get close to the rated value, the thermistor is malfunctioning and should be replaced. Now, apply heat to the thermistors.
